Feliciana Cellars Winery of Jackson, LA, was recently
honored with four medals in the Wines of the South competition.
The 2007 Wines of the South competition drew 427 wines
from wineries in thirteen states. The 2006 Evangeline
was awarded a silver medal, while the 2006 Dry Carlos,
Galvez, and Felicite's Blush all won bronze medals. The
Tennessee Viticulture and Enological Society presented
the awards at its annual conference in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The Dry Carlos is a dry white wine, Galvez is a semi-sweet
white wine, Felicite's Blush is a semi-sweet blush, and
Evangeline is a sweet white wine. All four wines are produced
from Carlos muscadines grown in the winery's vineyard.
Feliciana Cellars is located in downtown Jackson, LA.
Wines can be tasted and purchased at the winery, or you

now available
The 2006 vintage of Esperanza, the popular
sparkling wine produced annually by Feliciana Cellars
Winery, is now available at the winery.
Esperanza has become a holiday tradition at Feliciana
Cellars, with a limited number of cases selling out in
a matter of weeks. The sparkling wine is made in the traditional
French methode champenoise. Esperanza is produced from
the Carlos variety of muscadine grown in the Feliciana
Cellars vineyards on Highway 68 in East Feliciana Parish.
Esperanza sells for $18 per bottle and is available only
at the winery tasting room.
